Bought this new xbox 250GB and got the red dot of death the first day. Turned off the console and it fixed the problem. Then 2 days later got the red dot of death again. Returning the console.

the new xbox has made small, but amazing changes. First off, the touch screen buttons are finally on this console. It makes turning on and off much eaiser and the noise is makes is certainly exciting for the first couple times. Second, the fan is so quite compared to the original 360 so you do not have to hear than annoying fan blow away while you're shooting down the enemy in call of duty or scoring the game winning touch down in madden. Third, the built in wireless is average and it is just a little bit better than the older usb adapter for the old 360. The power brick is much smaller so it takes up less space so that was also a huge plus as well as the blacked out wireless controller they threw in. Over all the new xbox 360 250gb (slim) has a real clean finish and looks very "slick", but it is not really worth it until kinect comes out. On the other hand if you can feel your xbox now is about to die out. Do what i did and trade it in and buy this one and you will not be disappointed.

my old xbox 360 got the open tray error after 2 1/2 years of heavy play so i had to get it replaced and god knows 4 GB isnt enough and im so glad i dint buy the old arcade. for whatever reason it doesnt make noise, i dont lag out of games anymore, it looks awesome, and i have a new controller and 10x more storage. im extremly happy all the way around.

well... the title of this review pretty much explains it all, I love my new xbox 360 slim. I have had absolutely no problems with it, and it runs like a quiet champion. Definatly recommend buying if you are looking for a new system to replace your old one.
